TJ and his team are the best! I have never been disappointed. They are honest and reasonable.

TJ and Joe were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend them if you need anything done on your car. They were much better than a few other places I've gone to around Denton.

Best mechanic in town! TJ is upfront and honest about repairs and costs. There are never any hidden costs and I never doubt that my car is in good hands. I recommend Strande's Garage to everyone I know and always bring my car to them.

Strandes is where I always suggest people go when they have any kind of car problem in Denton. Kevin and the other mechanics there are smart, efficient, honest, and damn good at what they do. I've taken a 1969 van and a 2008 sedan to Strandes for everything over the last 5 years, and they always know how to help me out, and often how to save me some money in the process. Moreover, multiple friends whom I've sent to Strandes have come away singing their praises. They don't do every job under the sun, but whenever I've needed specialty work, Kevin knows just where to send me to get it done right. These guys have really earned my trust, and I recommend them without reservation.

**BUYER BEWARE** Took my Mustang to TJ and left it with him to replace the steering rack while we were out of town. I told him there was no rush to get it completed as we would be gone a week. Car was left with him on Wednesday with a GPS tracking device and by Thursday he nearly had the old part out and ready to install the new one. We left on Friday and on Saturday I received a notification from the GPS device that the car had exceeded 85 MPH. On Sunday I had received another notification that the car had exceeded 85 MPH so I begin to look into the notifications and the tracking of the vehicle to see where it was being driven. The trip on Sunday indicated that my Mustang had exceeded 100 MPH (101 to be exact) and was now in Downtown Dallas with the fuel gage on empty. At first I had thought it was stolen but it later returned to the address in Flower Mound where it had been parked Friday and Saturday night after it left his shop. When we confronted TJ about the incidents he had reasoning and excuses for all of it and never took ownership of the excessive speeding or joy riding and never apologized. TJ never offered to make this right and I didnt ask him to so I paid the full $1,800 bill without hesitation. TJ’s work is and seems to be good but he should not take advantage of his customers trust and vehicles.

Our manager (TJ) and staff of technicians ensure each and every vehicle is repaired to manufacture specification. The repair that took place on your vehicle involved replacing the electronic steering gear which has an immediate correlation to the steering angle sensor. The complexity of the repair on your vehicle was to appropriately calibrate the newly replaced steering gear to the steering angle sensor. Provided that our facility is closed on the weekend we ask for our fully licensed and insured technicians to facilitate road tests that involve lengthy drive cycles before or after normal business hours so that we don't delay returning other vehicles being serviced back to our other customers. We received the vehicle with a 1/4 tank of fuel and when it ran low we refueled it back to this level at no cost to you. Our staff knew that the vehicle you brought in was equipped with a GPS affixed to the OBD port, therefore our team had nothing to hide and we acted in good faith and were honest with you regarding what took place while the vehicle was being serviced. We drove the vehicle the way we did to ensure the vehicle was successfully repaired. The price you were charged for the repair was absolutely fair and hundreds of dollars cheaper than an industry average based off of data associated to other vehicles identical to yours. Our organization has been in business since 1962, we serve thousands of customers and consequently hold ourselves to the highest standard. We apologize sincerely if you are not satisfied with our service. Please call us with any questions or comments you may have. Your satisfaction is our priority. Thank you kindly for your feedback.

I'd give this business 6 stars if I could. They are absolutely one of the best garages I've dealt with in a very long time. I was considering buying a used car, but wanted to have it inspected for any possible problems beforehand. I spoke to one of their mechanics, TJ, who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was able to go directly from the dealer to his garage, where the car was placed on a lift almost immediately. He inspected the car and informed me of the possible problems, thus saving me from buying a lemon.

I have a 2001 white Pontiac Grand Am 4-door and I took that car which was in perfect condition from day one I bought it kept it perfect In-Shape took it two strands garage just to have the radiator worked on and what was supposed to take one week it ended up staying there three months however I just had back surgery and I was in a wheelchair but I was wanting to get my car back while they kept it the three months they stripped my car they took the dash off the top for my VIN number they took the dash off the bottom of my on the bottom side where my gas pedal is and they took the cushion out of my my driver seat and I don't know what they were going to put back in there drugs who knows they had the dash off they were going to change the miles on my car they stole the i even sent the police out there and they were supposed to call me to meet me out there they didn't so they check the VIN and then they put it back but my Dash is ripped all the pieces they did it there they did it and it doesn't fit and then the dash on the bottom where the gas pedal is is falling down and I tell you that they stole my wheels and put rusted wheels back on my car and my rear tire locked up and would not go forward it would go. Backwards but it would not go forward so with them tearing my car apart and getting the parts off of my car and swapping them out with wrecking yard Parts something has got to be done TJ should be ashamed of his self for allowing that to be done to my car my car ran perfect the only thing it needed was radiator hoses and he let the guy that is in here there with him the dark had a guy strip my car and put old no good parts back on my car and I'm going to the district attorney and report this plus the Better Business Better Business Bureau do not go to strands no matter what you do they will rip you off and they ought to be ashamed of themselves.
