Updated Review: Owner reached out at 3PM via phone, he stressed how unacceptable it was that I was not communicated with. He offered to do the maintenance work himself and showed up to do so on his day off while giving me a 10% discount. I don’t think my initial experience is representative of this shop and would recommend them to anyone who asked. Thank you for rectifying the situation so quickly and of your own volition. Many shops would have left me stranded, but not Strandes. Initial Review: Dropped my car off at 8am Friday 4/4/25 for maintenance diagnostic. Didn’t receive a call about the diagnosis until 2:50PM, talked to them, called back at 3:20PM to approve all work. Said it would be more than likely end of day. No call rest of day, I call at 5PM and they say “oh, sorry, I didn’t call it’s been hectic here today. We're waiting on a part. It’ll be here tomorrow, definitely done by end of day tomorrow. Well, I didn’t receive a call and turns out they close at noon on Saturday and aren’t open on Sunday. So, they’ve effectively held my vehicle hostage all weekend and I won’t have a mode of transportation to work on Monday all without even a courtesy update from the shop. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else, somewhere slightly more courteous and professional.
